Sound Processing
The Starkey Evolv AI hearing aids feature always-on automatic sound processing with up to 55 million automatic adjustments per hour. The latest updates allow for an additional 40% reduction of wind and machine noise.
Edge mode makes adjustments to your hearing aid settings with an artificial intelligence analysis of the sounds around you. Now, Edge mode has been updated so that it’s easier to hear and understand speech in cars and other vehicles. Edge mode can be activated by taping the hearing aid.
Wireless Connectivity
2 way audio is now available in every wireless style. This means that you can have a handsfree phone conversation with your iPhone laying on the table. Your voice is picked up by the hearing aid microphones so the other person can hear you. You can also answer or end a phone call directly from the hearing aid without touching your iPhone. There’s also improved Android connectivity, however currently handsfree calls with Android require the Starkey Remote Microphone +.
App
If you’re not familiar with the Starkey Thrive Hearing Control app, it has many powerful features that you can take advantage of. There are health trackers, a voice assistant, translation, and transcription features. Now, all Starkey Evolv AI hearing aid technology levels have fall alert and voice reminders. The app can also be used to control your hearing aid volume, sound quality, and program selection. If you want to save yourself a trip to your provider’s office, TeleHear remote programming is available for hearing aid adjustments at home.
Styles
The Starkey Evolv AI hearing aid is available in a wide range of styles from compact devices that sit deep inside the ear canal to more powerful devices that sit behind the ear. There’s are also disposable and rechargeable battery options. The new updates include higher capacity rechargeable batteries and also up to 50% less battery drain when listening in noisy situations.
