Signia Active Pro Earbuds
Today, I’m talking about the NEW Signia Active Pro Earbuds from Signia hearing aids. They’re designed for mild to moderate hearing loss, and they’re available in three colors: snow white with rose gold, black, and black with silver.
Your hearing healthcare provider will select the best fit ear tip and will fine tune the sound settings to accommodate your hearing test results. The Signia Active Pro earbuds use Signia Xperience YourSound technology which is also found in other Signia hearing aids. This technology provides an optimized sound quality in all types of environments.
Controls
The earbuds themselves do not have any controls on the outside, but they’re adjustable with the Signia smartphone app or miniPocket remote. They automatically turn on when you remove them from the case and shutoff when you put them back inside.
Charging
The Signia Active Pro earbuds case is also a charger. There’s a lithium-ion rechargeable battery in the hearing aids as well as inside the case. You can plug in the USB-C cable or use wireless charging. Wired charging takes 3 hours and wireless charging takes 5 hours to fully charge the case. The case also provides 3 full hearing aid charges.
A 30 minute fast charge gives 5 hours of listening or 3 hours streaming. You can get up to 26 hours of listening per charge or 23 hours of listening and 5 hours of streaming.
Connectivity
The Signia Active Pro earbuds will connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth so that you can stream movies, music, podcasts, and phone calls. The hearing aids are compatible with Apple and Android devices. You also have access to other Signia accessories including the StreamLine TV, StreamLine Mic, and miniPocket.
The StreamLine TV connects the hearing aids directly to the television audio so that you can reduce the background noise and improve speech understanding for your favorite TV programming.
The StreamLine Mic is a wireless microphone that someone else can wear to send their voice directly to your hearing aids. This is especially helpful for noisy listening situations so that it’s easier to have a conversation. Also if you have an Android device, the StreamLine Mic is required for audio streaming.
The miniPocket works as a hearing aid remote control. You can use this device to control your hearing aids, or you can use the Signia smartphone app to change your settings.
Remote Care
Your hearing healthcare provider can adjust the Signia Active Pro earbuds remotely using the TeleCare option within the Signia app.
Digital Assistant
You can use the Signia assistant within the Signia app. It’s an artificial intelligence digital assistant that will help adapt your hearing aid settings by learning your hearing preferences. The Signia assistant also provides hearing information and support.
